Myofascial Release
Fascia is the thin connective tissue that covers all myo, or muscle fibre, as well as the body's organs, bones, tendons and ligaments. It is an uninterrupted web linking head to toe. Fascia acts with muscle fibres to create movement, maintain posture, and transport nutrients to the muscles. Painful areas of tension and muscle fatigue, resulting from poor postural habits, anxiety and stress, can restrict the fascia's function. The therapist applies the techniques of this slow and intuitive deep tissue massage to facilitate release, bringing relaxation and restoring harmony to the body.
